It really makes it easier on your wallet to switch to it. The pouch holds about 3-4 cards on each side, plus a small amount of cash folded in half. It is designed precisely to fit the money in the middle and the cards on the sides. So far everything seems secure and nothing looks like it will fall out. If you're the type who still pays cash for everything, this probably isn't the wallet of your dreams, as there's a bit more to pulling out a folded wad of cash, then paying with it, then folding the loose change neatly in half harder than just pulling the bills out of a traditional wallet. . But since I hardly ever pay in cash, it doesn't really matter. I will carry my wallet 80% lighter all day every day and take that little extra step when paying with cash. At the moment I've been using it as a daily wallet for about a month and it shows no signs of wear. It appears to be built quite solidly and will likely hold up, but time will tell. UPDATE: Thing is 2 years old and still going strong. Now I can probably get 6 cards per side since it's stretched a bit. But it hasn't stretched to the point where it feels a bit unreliable, it still holds all the cards securely even if I only have one or two on each side. He runs into my front pocket and disappears there. It still sucks if you use a lot of cash on a regular basis, but you can carry enough cash in your average pocket and never have to worry about running out of paper money when you need it. An almost perfect wallet for the typical modern man who occasionally needs to hold some cash but usually gambles day in, day out. If you are using it abroad please note that in some countries it really can't handle larger accounts, this is a US centric wallet.
