I've updated this review after finally finding the right driver and getting it working. The github driver morrownr/88x2bu also works fine with the latest kernel (5.13.4) on Fedora. Since I have Secure Boot enabled, I have to decompress, sign and recompress the driver every time I update. (Signing compressed modules is poorly documented and was confusing to me.) Bottom line, it now works fine, albeit only through dkms. Below are my original comments: This is based on Realtek rtl8822au chipset which does not support the original version of Linux. There are several dkms-based git repositories with drivers that _should_ work, but: - dkms is a real problem, especially when Secure Boot is enabled. (You need to sign the drivers manually). None of these drivers currently work with the Fedora 34 5.13 kernel. (I've just tried them all). Avoid pain, use panda adapters instead.
