Connected to Spectrum VOIP and got beeps. However, calling a number results in a mid-call hangup. In other words, it cannot be used with VOIP. I concluded that this is only good for a traditional wired system. The overall quality is very light, thin, rough and cheap in every way. Definitely not your old-fashioned Bell phone, or anything close to Panasonic, Sony, etc. The photo buttons seem like a smart feature, but the actual image size is so small that it's probably better to just print the name big and super-bold type . It's also difficult to tamper with the clear plastic button covers.
