We love our salad dressing bottle. We were looking for this glass. I read some of the reviews at the time of purchase that said the recipes were disgusting. We didn't find this to be true. Everyone has different tastes, but we've found a few dressing recipes that we like. Plus, if you're used to making your own dressing, you can always tailor it to your liking, although we didn't find it necessary for our loved ones. Plus, it's easier than getting hold of a cookbook - so my husband occasionally makes the dressing now, which I really appreciate. There aren't that many gauges to wash afterwards - a definite bonus. Other reviewers have said their cap broke or the prescriptions wore out. We've had the bottle for over 2 years now and use it constantly - we eat salads 3-5 times a week (made some dietary changes for health and weight loss a few years ago and have stuck with it) and our cap is still fine. We found a lid from another container and put it in the drawer just in case. Even after frequent hand washing and many trips to the dishwasher, the recipes remain very clear. The only thing that has changed are my eyes - now I need reading glasses to be able to read the recipes well - so I guess the font has gotten smaller because it can't be because I'm getting older :- ) It lasted a few short drops (on the shelves - it doesn't hit the floor) and didn't crash. We do find that thicker dressings tend to drip a little, so the bottle needs to be rinsed out before putting it in the fridge, but I'm not sure there's a way to prevent this. Very happy with this purchase!
