Review on Corki 31.8Mm Aluminum Alloy Bicycle Seat Post Clamp Collar With Titanium Alloy Screws by John Anaya

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Clamp doesn't provide enough pressure, so my seat post continues to slip

Super light weight, but the clamp was a little oversized. I had to shim it to prevent the tabs from touching. The clamp is a little "short" and doesn't provide enough area/clamping force to the seat tube. I torqued it to the required torque, made sure the tabs weren't touching, and my post still slipped about 1" over a 50-mile ride. Not fun!I like the Ti bolt, but I think it's mis-sized as well. A little larger bolt would help the clamping torque.

Pros
  • Much lighter, smaller footprint, and better looking
Cons
  • The look and design of the product might not be suitable for all bike styles
