Review on 🌀 iSpring WSP50GR Sediment Filter with 360° Head - Reusable by Dawn Webster

Love it, but smaller and filters out 50 micron debris (a little thinner than a sheet of paper). I was hoping it would filter out the red mud (see next filter photo) but the 25 micron filter catches almost all sediment. The third filter is 5 microns and picks up almost nothing. Notice how red the white element turned red in the second filter after only about 100 gallons. I just bought a house on a hill 325 feet above the river and a few miles from the Mississippi River (Northwest Illinois) and there were no filters or water softeners coming out of a 400 foot well. This filter is great, but I need a larger, thinner, self-flushing filter with a clear tank so I can tell when to manually flush. Or better yet, there's one that can be timed and washed down by itself and is made in Italy for around $325 but $200 shipping. I added a Waterboss iron/sulphur filter (the water is low in iron, smells like sulphur), then a Morton softener. It filters out fine black sand, that's all it does for my water.
