This watch has plastic gears, couldn't solve the problem.
My pool pump timer went off and I figured changing the clock would fix the unit. It turned out that the real problem was the failure of the mechanism that turns the device on. he became too stiff to stumble easily. Installing a new clock only revealed the problem. The clock continues to run but is destroyed because the movement of the clock's gears continues and the movement cannot continue turning and the plastic gears fail.
