Does the job for the price but be careful with it

I work for a volunteer fire department and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a light so after some research and ruling out a few other options , I chose this one. First let me say that the lights are very bright and can be seen day and night. It has many different patterns (including both lights being on all the time, which I see a lot of people asking about for some reason). It remembers the last template you selected, so you can find the template you like and have it available the next time you use it. The suction cups feel quite thick and stick well to the windshield. The downside is that the headlight housing is obviously made of very cheap plastic and feels fragile in the hands. The front hood is also made out of cheap thin plastic, it comes off very easily and it seems that it may break at some point. I have a feeling this particular piece must have been made out of some kind of rubber. I'm not going to let this device melt on the dashboard in the southern heat - that's for sure. Overall, for the price, this instrument light really can't be beat. You don't invest a lot of money and it does its job well. Just don't overuse it and it should last a few years.
