Review on Black Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Professional Grade Studio Monitor Headphones with Detachable Cable - Critically Acclaimed by Vanchay Kokram (.) ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

With a normal card (and not my X-Fi HD) and equalization are quite suitable, not "Wow!", but worthy. If you want bass - it will be, they won't even choke (put cups down on the table - the table turned into a subwoofer), if you don't want it - it won't. I listened both in uncompressed and in compressed form, they basically reproduce everything, any genre, be it 2SFH or some Pendulum with Aero Khord. The cables in the kit are my respect, you can use their bundle if you don’t have a cable. But the soundproofing . You will not feel it. Do you know why? Exactly, they don't have it! Studio though. Okay, not so dramatic, but still consider it. In general, the impressions are more positive than any others. By the way, the production is Taiwan, not quite China, as they say everywhere.

Pros
  • The design does not look flimsy despite the fact that it is a creaking plastic (well, it creaks a bit, can you get to the bottom? :P). Compact. They look stylish (in white, and in black too, but these are already taste preferences in felt-tip pens). They sound quite detailed and I didn’t hear any booming bass (okay, because of my awesome EQ, I confused them with a massager, but in the standard preset they hardly bass, you know, more analytical than booming), but the sound had one but, it in shortcomings.
Cons
  • They squeeze their heads like in a vise (that is, the scales hurt very much). Very little room for ears, even for my little ones and very hot, first time like this. And here is already a minus about the sound, I knew that they were tinted at the top, but that a flock of drank fell on me and cut my membranes into blood, I did not expect this. When warmed up and further equalized, the sound becomes detailed rather than sawy, but there are still a lot of high ones, yes.
