Not sure what I'm missing here. I'm not trying to be a snob or a rebel in saying this, but don't buy this speaker! let me explain. I bought this speaker about six months ago and when I received it I thought it sounded decent. . Basically, it sounded like a high-end kitchen radio to me. As I said. respectable. Then for the next few days I asked myself why it is so expensive. Call me cynical, but the only logical conclusion I've come to is that you're actually paying an extra $300 for that "BOSE" badge on the front. Long story short, I returned it, watched some speaker comparison videos and settled on the Aiwa Exos 9. It's a $300 speaker and trust me. DEFINITELY better sound quality. That's the interesting part; I liked the Aiwa so much that I bought another one and "linked" it for the left and right channels. The sound that comes out of these two Aiwa is of a very different class than the Bose sound. And if you haven't done the math, the grand total for Aiwa is $600. Only $50 more than the expensive kitchen radio. By the way, I'm not an Aiwa seller. Just someone who doesn't want their money wasted.
