After reading the reviews I thought this pair might be a good replacement but I was concerned as it looked quite short and I was concerned that the cleats really wouldn't stick. I was wrong. These tweezers are amazing. They are shorter than my previous ones and therefore much easier to hold. And while the ends appear blunter, they seem to get to the root of the hair better and grab it when you pull. It works better so I didn't feel so bad about tossing the old ones in the bin.
