It's a chore we could all live without, so I started looking around for storage options that would suit us. This bag is useful, but there are a few downsides. One size fits all. The bottom of the bag measures exactly 6 inches. A size 7 (medium) cap with a moderately curved bill is 6 1/2 inches wide. That means the pouch will deform to fit them, although you'll still fit about 16 lids. It's not the end of the world, but it creates two problems. Some of us just don't like warped pockets. And more importantly, the sides drop down to become part of the floor. The material of the base is more durable than the sides, but when the sides become the base you have a weaker and more easily worn base. The second downside is the handles. For some odd reason, they're in the middle of the bag, one on each side, like a wallet. It would be very strange to carry this thing with you like a handbag! The best option would be if the handle is on one end, which makes it easier to hang in the closet without taking up much space. The worst would be how they did it. Disadvantage number three. Since it's not easy to hang up, you might think it will look nice on the shelf. It will not. Since the bag is soft on all sides, only tattered lids result when stacked. This disadvantage can be eliminated by simply placing the handle where it should be. The bag works, but it's basically the standard cheap junk we usually import from China.
