Review on ๐Ÿงน Rubbermaid Comfort Grip Dustpan and Brush Set - Easy Dirt Pickup with Rubber Edge by Todd Saunders

How can a company ruin a scoop?

It never ceases to amaze me that every product that goes through the analysis, 3D modeling and testing stages fails to perform a simple task for which it was designed, which is the to sweep dust into the pan. Based on product specifications, Rubbermaid used a rubber leading edge to reduce the motion that flat objects suffer at zero degrees and often slide like hockey pucks with dust flying everywhere. The problem with the rubber leading edge is that it's not flush with the ground, so smaller particles of what we call dust get under the dustpan, not in. I think some of the products that Rubbermaid sells are bought from other manufacturers and sold under the Rubbermaid logo, either that's the case or they don't have designers. Whatever the answer, it's a terrible dustpan and brush.
