I was looking for an inexpensive mount to use on my bike to mount my phone for recording. This is the only one that offers a full vertical position while taking up minimal space on the handlebars. Haven't had a chance to try it on the road yet, but the mount seems very secure, both for the phone and the steering wheel. I added two modifications that I thought would help: I replaced the anti-theft handlebar mounting bolts with standard Allen. This eliminates the need to carry around a special wrench and lets you use a bike tool instead. I also added a standard elastic strap to secure the phone to the locking wheel to provide an extra layer of protection in case it comes loose (think mountain bike trails).
