Review on 🐹 Kaytee CritterTrail Portable Travel Habitat, Blue, Small by Lauren Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a decent TRAVEL cage, folks!

I don't understand why people are taking stars off because of the size of this cell. Dimensions are clearly marked and this is a TRAVEL cage. But the beauty of it is that you can hook it up to a regular cage system. This does not mean that this is the only cage for rodents. Second, there is no gap between the wire cage inserts and the plastic frame if you position the wire sides correctly. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I'm moving and didn't want to move with huge 3 story living quarters in our cars as we have 10 of them so I bought them for travel. When we get to the other side, I use them as attachments to large rigs for an extra area for my mice to explore. Can't comment on the water bottles as I haven't used them yet. I love that there is a handle and the doors at the top seem to lock with ease. I believe if you squeeze the lock's plastic mechanism hard you can break it, but just don't use brute force. Gently push it down to unlock it and it should move on. The only complaint I have is that there are no instructions on how to attach traditional tubes to the connectors in the new design, but we'll look into that. Otherwise I'm satisfied with this cage as a good mouse carrier.

  • Decent performance
Cons
