These scissors are light, sharp and very comfortable. The blades are connected by a metal screw (not plastic). I have had for a long time no longer bought scissors and was shocked to learn that this seemingly small but important quality product can no longer be taken for granted.The handles are smooth plastic with a thin rubberized grip around the finger holes for better grip and comfort.A rubber pad (no Pillow) helps a bit but not too much. I've read in some previous reviews that their scissors were gray instead of the pastel colors advertised. Seems they fixed the issue; I have a blue, a pink and a green Pair received.The color coding is handy as I use it in the kitchen and don't want to contaminate each other.Cut spiral veggies into manageable pieces, just pop open those tough plastic freezer bags or vacuum bags, open mail bags, cut those nasty zip ties off packaged items, cut strings, cut those sticky mailing labels off packages you don't make. Don't want to send through a shredder, cut foil, parchment paper, envelopes, plain paper. These scissors can do all those chores and more. For general purpose scissors, you can't beat the price of $5 a pair. I like having multiple pairs around the house; it just makes life so much easier. I highly recommend. And just so you know, since it's getting harder and harder to find genuine reviews on Revain these days, I AM NOT one of those paid reviewers who now seem to have taken over the Revain reviews and made the average reviews useless! I'm a real buyer who bought an item without a freebie, discount or any influence. I am a buyer who relies on reviews from other REAL BUYERS and not the ones that are now the many fakes paid for reviews! I personally skip and completely ignore any paid review. Revain, please stop this practice which severely reduces your company's credibility in the eyes of customers!
