I used to have a 2 inch straightener that lasted for years and finally gave up. I was given a Chi straightener which is good but I have thick curly hair so it took me forever to straighten it with it. I couldn't regulate the temperature either. But this product is 10 times better than the expensive Chi. You can easily adjust the temperature and it heats up very quickly. I can straighten all my hair (and it's thick, shoulder blade length) in under half an hour. With this product I also don't have to go through each section as long and my hair stays straight for 2-3 days. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for "designer" irons.
