Shorts fit well. The material seems durable. However, the colors started running almost immediately. We went on vacation for a week without a washer and dryer. Black and green faded in places and spread - on towels and on water. We were in sea water or pool water and wore sunscreen. In the evening, after a day of use, I rinsed them in clear water and brought 2 other swimsuits. So we used this item normally and were only exposed to the chemicals that I think every swimsuit should be able to withstand. Significant black and green fading and bleeding.
