Not for beginners

I wouldn't call this embroidery pattern beginner's embroidery because there are several different stitch types in this pattern and a fairly vague description of how to sew on the back of the paper. I was able to look up how to make some of these on YouTube, and there are quite a few threads (although I wish it was spools of yarn rather than individual threads to make tangling easier). In general, I like the design, the colors, the needles and scissors that come with it. I may have chosen a different one to start with since I've never embroidered before.
