So far my 2 month old daughter likes it very much. Bought for her as she started teething early. But she's not quite able to grab things tight enough to hold her mother. She hasn't learned to chew the toy yet. But he immediately drew her attention and started playing with him and making noise as if she were talking to him. The only disappointment I have is that the body is made of fabric with a yarn pattern. I was hoping for a little more texture. But yarn can be difficult to clean, so I understand the idea behind it.
