I bought one of these as a birthday gift for my nephew as he is quite an avid fisherman and usually drives a small row boat. He's also been kayaking more lately and lost his ID and credit cards in a rope backpack last summer when it capsized, so the fact that he claimed it was waterproof and buoyant was enough for me to give it a try . In the end I was very impressed with the quality of the materials and the "performance" (if you want to factor in the performance of the wallet) so I picked up a second one to take on vacation in the summer. It's certainly not something I'd use every day, but for the price, it's definitely worth using it a few times a year to give me peace of mind for the foreseeable future.
