My old meat grinder was difficult to use (I've had one for 30 years) because it wouldn't snap onto the new worktop. I was afraid that this one wouldn't grind as well as the old one, despite the suction floor. The first thing I did was make a ham salad, my favorite, to see how it would work. I don't see how it could do the job any better! It's big enough to put a bowl underneath (there used to be none). It worked simply and efficiently! I am VERY glad I bought it! I look forward to the canning season and the preparation of pickles. I love this car!
