I liked it at first but again. THE GOOD: The Surface Pro 7 feels like a laptop with this keyboard. It adds a lot more weight to the Surface Pro 7 than the Signature Type lid, but its thickness, weight, and quieter and softer, rather than mushy, key travel make a big difference. It feels solid. It feels *comfortable*. Its recliner cushion is great. THE BAD: (1) It's basically a glorified BT keyboard. The price is amazing, especially since Brydge isn't using the latest version of BT. Initial pairing isn't the fastest, and waking from sleep isn't instantaneous like the MS Signature Type Cover is. I can buy a cheaper lLogitech BT keyboard that doesn't plug in but works much better. (2) While the Surface sits nicely in Brydge's retractable mounts, it's *very* prone to slipping out of those mounts when walking with the Surface/Brydge combo closed. Thanks, but I don't want my Surface to slide and smash on a hard floor and damage the screen. HORRIBLE: The Surface Pro 7 it was connected to got very hot. Don't understand why. Was the Brydge BT connection causing the heat? It doesn't make sense, but with other design issues, it was too much. The return to MS Signature Type Cover solved this problem immediately.
