Easy to paint into wall lights

I took a chance, I liked the design but wanted something more like antique brass. Found it easy to detach the bulb/wiring from the base and pull out the translucent diffuser. Only the plaster (yes, plaster!) base remained, which I cleaned of plaster dust and painted with several coats of Rust-Oleum universal paint and primer in a can - a bronze oil rub. Completely satisfied with the result.
