Review on πŸ”Ά ODISTAR Hexagon Wall Light: Colorful Remote-Controlled Modular LED Lights for Smart Bedroom and Living Room Decoration (6-Pack) by David Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Flickering after 2 months of use (recoverable).

First I liked the headlights. In fact, I liked them so much that I bought them 3 times. This was a mistake as they are short lived. After 2 months of moderate use, the tile starts to flicker. The first tile connected to the wire is fine, but all connected ones lose their ability to emit light. The further away from the cable, the worse the problem. Disassembly and reassembly can solve the problem temporarily, maybe for a day, maybe just 10 minutes, but the problem will definitely come back. I think a weak USB connection between the tiles is to blame. I want it to be a USB 3 connection. USB 3 is much more secure. UPDATE: I've tried several alternatives, but ODISTAR seems to be the best quality among the remote controlled multicolor hexagonal lights. I tried to tape the USB connectors between the tiles with tape to keep them in place. while it works fine.
