Works great with an adjustment. The design of the cutter is ideal for cutting a groove in an already installed floor and the edge has a nice and sharp edge allowing for a clean cut to accommodate the slot to change direction when installing the floor. The only thing I found was that the bearing that came with the kit allowed a cut too deep, so I replaced it with a slightly larger bearing and everything went great. I recommend practicing to test the fit before making any cuts you'll regret.
