We love it!

First off, we had quite conflicting expectations of this little man. So much so that our team was split equally. However, factual opinions (the time has come) quickly began to skew towards "impressions". On the one hand, this little LaserPecker is quite expensive. Especially if you have full-fledged machines that cost about the same price and can cover a large area. However, they are not comparable in terms of usability. Some of these machines are a bit like using a 3D printer (some others are a bit simpler). However, this little LaserPecker is the simplest of them all and by far the most portable. At least as long as the app is running. When we looked at some of the reviews about the app, we were a bit worried at first. He doesn't have the best reputation. However (there's a lot in this review) the app seems to work well except for one minor hiccup. Our little bug is related to the registration as the code is not sent to our mail server. So we switched to Gmail and got it (after realizing that they were sending verification codes from a shared domain that was probably blocked by our server due to known spam issues in the past). Eventually, however, we got the code and were able to keep using it. Although it would be nice not to. Since everything is managed locally through the app, we felt no verification codes or registration were required. Anyway, do a normal user/pass script and you're done, but only if you have an artist community or something related. Otherwise the account should not be needed. While that paragraph may be, we haven't had any major issues with it, so no stars have been deducted. That little tidbit aside, we were able to get the app working and engrave a bunch of things, and we had quite a bit of time. It's a lot of fun to do. Wait times aren't too bad for small things (branding small logos and text on leather clothing and the like). Especially compared to something like a 3D printer. So you will (literally) "burn" your way through a lot of things and have fun trying it out on different surfaces. However, if you go a little deeper and taller (especially with a tree), the math suddenly changes. A 100mm x 100mm flower on a tree (100% laser, 100% depth) we did for someone in 723 minutes (it was a bit painful). That's how it shines best with a little branding and sorting. Leather works well with this device, as do paper, cardboard, and plain plastic. Smartphone cases made of durable plastic may require multiple passes to achieve a reasonably clear result. We ended up using the old battered body as an exercise and ran it under it about 5 times before we were happy (each time we increased the laser or depth more and more until we got to 100% laser and 60% depth and it as well designated). .The only, what we had a problem with was the legs, which had to be dipped in rubber or covered with some sort of rubber cap. part of the flower was cut off because the laser tripod slipped. so little. Probably due to the curvature of the surface he was standing on. The legs of the tripod are plastic, so there's no real grip to keep it stable. These are simple things that make a big difference in the end. The app is quite user-friendly, and as long as it doesn't have any of the previously mentioned issues (from people other than ourselves), we'd say it has a lot of potential if they expand on it. So far we like it very much. ** If you found our review helpful, please rate it below so we know.
