I just couldn't find another mount with this length or this hinge. What I didn't realize was how easy it is to set up and how perfect it is for a 28 inch monitor. Once I set it up, its rotation and angle are exceptional and I use it every day. which I didn't do. I know that when I'm not using the monitor I can rotate the monitor so the screen faces the wall, protecting me from random chaos like nerf darts or cat attacks. I've added soft rubber pads on the front for hard contact, but all the bonus material I didn't know I could do with it. As for the mount itself, it's by far the best. The distance and angles it can achieve are impossible with anything else in this price range. with all the screws and fasteners I needed, but I already had a drill and was able to create the pilot holes. I would also recommend using a strong hex bit to set the base. These screws are very long and pita by hand. These long screws are Phillips head screws, but also hex head screws so you can use a wrench or socket if you have some. I think they are 8mm or so small. This was the hardest part, and yet it only took me about 20 minutes to organize everything, duct tape and a small garbage can, and complete the installation. Highly recommended for people who want extreme angles. I use it every day and it's quiet, no creaks or noise, the air blast works perfectly and protects my monitor when I'm not using it, so it's better than I expected. How can I add additional stars?
