Review on Wireless headphones Sony WF-SP900, black by Seo Jun ᠌

There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

Relative water resistance - tk. in this case, waterproof ear pads are used, and this is an air channel closed by a small rubber membrane. The sound passes through it with the quality "sings and okay." This is a compromise, but the advantage there is in the direction of water resistance, not sound. However, when you're underwater with your music, it's a completely new experience, you can even forgive the lack of quality. The bass is weak, apparently cut off by the internal crossover, but smoothly and without a sharp dip. High such "sharply digital" seemed to me. Immediately after purchase, the sound seemed terrible. I suspect by default, before installing the prog from Sony, the equalizer preset is enabled. After setting it already seems acceptable. But before the same AM61 for 2 clearly does not hold out, especially in bass. It is convenient to store 2 presets in your ears. One, for example, for a player on a phone with its own equalizer, the other for YouTube or for waterproof ear cushions where we add bass, treble and remove the hump at 2-4 kHz. By the way, Sony has an equalizer from 400Hz (some kind of game), though there is a TrueBass item with a range of + -10. Noise isolation is rather weak, especially in terms of high. The Ambient mode simply has 2 modes: "skip the voice" and "skip everything". Once in the pool I put on glasses, touched my ears, the earpiece went to the bottom, the plug remained in the ear, the lace on the head (it’s better to wear it under the “bone”). The mesh got wet, the sound became worse, but the consequences after drying didn’t seem to happen. Walking with in-ear ears is another "pleasure", your own steps are hammering into your ears. With periodically included "Ambient" worked only 2 hours! Some mega-sucks. Even the declared shameful 3 hours did not work. Yes, it would be better if they were 2-3 mm larger in any direction, but they kept at least 3 hours. The case is, of course, good, but . A complete usb-c wiring of 10 cm is such a joke from Sony, apparently. If the ear fell off tightly (it was 1 time) - hold the buttons on both for 30 seconds. In general, the product is extremely specific. For swimming, wearing in the rain, for the sake of "Ambient" well, that's all.

Pros
  • Design, relative water resistance, secure fit in the ears.
Cons
  • Sound, RELATIVE water resistance, autonomy: play 2 hours, charge one and a half - a nightmare; BT range is no more than a Chinese headset for 700r, which also connects faster (maybe it depends on the smartphone); I paused in the headset and walked all day, the Sony headphones will still soon sit down, even with or without sound. I just stuck it in, went to the pool or the gym and put it on charge (if you have time to change clothes before that)). It is unpleasant to peck in your ear to change the volume.
