This is a very pretty dress with a very flattering cut. I really liked the faux wrap style, so although I wasn't too keen on the fabric, I wanted to give it a try. I am 5'4" tall and wear a size 14. I ordered the olive green version of this dress in size XL to make sure I would have enough room through the shoulders and bust. The fit is just a little oversized through the shoulders, but fits perfectly everywhere else. I am sure that size L would not have fit at all. The dress is trim-fitting and I definitely need the long zipper in back to get into it. It follows the shape of my body, and the fabric isn't really very forgiving, but the way the wrap part of the skirt comes around and ties (it looks like a true wrap, but in reality there is full coverage, so no chance of wardrobe mishaps) makes it easy to customize the fit. The sleeves are full and gathered at the wrist and are just the right length for me. The length of the hem is a little longer on me than it is on the model, thank goodness. It hits me right above the knee. I have to say I'm not really a fan of the fabric. The material is 100% polyester, as described + it is woven, so although it is light-weight, it isn't very breathable. It has a texture somewhat like a wind-breaker and that rather plasticky feel that polyester often has. It doesn't drape as nicely as I would like and as I anticipated from the pictures accompanying the product description, but maybe that will improve after being laundered. I think this would be a much nicer dress in a higher quality fabric. But it is what it is and I do like it and I will wear it, although it isn't likely to become a favorite. The olive green color is really more of a hunter green which is really nice. The current price of $42.99 is too high given the rather mediocre fabric used.
