Review on Detachable Locking Compatible Touring 1984 2020 Motorcycle & Powersports by Ruben Jamrock

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They don't fit the width of my 2015 Street Glide Special Sissybar (UPDATE BELOW)

I loved the finish, I was happy to wear them. Then I compared them to stocks. You will notice the camp on the left. The cylinder lock makes the device too wide to fit into existing mounts (or rather too narrow, takes up a lot of space to fit into bike mounts) - NOTE: SEE. UNDER. Also, the hole for the screw is too deep - the mounting screw comes out before it touches the part and it wobbles on the bar mount. You can't flush it because the thick end makes it crooked, and you can't route it (I made some shims) because it gets really narrow in width, which was already a problem. I'll try it on my new luggage rack. I will report. I like them - the barrel locks feel solid and well made. I didn't expect anything less at this price. I gave this rating in case I missed something. UPDATE: So they fit the bar - very, very tight, at a certain angle, but they still work. But they don't fit in the rack but they attach with a mounting screw on the outside so anyone can remove the lock with the right bit and you have to use washers on it. View defeats the gate of the castle. In the last photo the castle is outside. The second picture shows the channel you will need to fit in for the sissy bar to work - CAREFULLY use a flat head screwdriver to spread the bar connection points apart to fit.
