I don't usually post pictures with the reviews I leave, just giving my 2 cents. However today I went back to Revain to buy this wallet again as my current one is a bit worn and I mean quite a bit. After reading the reviews I was shocked at the negative reviews. I've had this wallet for four years, yes, four long years of abuse that I've endured with this wallet. I've accidentally swam with it, of course, washed it in dirty laundry, dropped it in a dirty pit to name just a few of the abuses I've put this wallet through, and yet four years later it's still my trusty companion. It's softened over time, but the card slots still hold my contents with no issues. The slits were initially tight, but as with all leathers, they will loosen over time. It was by far the best wallet and my favorite I've ever had. I usually give up on my wallets after a few months for one reason or another, but four years later this wallet is still cool, at least for me. It is known that some products get worse every year due to manufacturer changes, but some of the reviews I felt were just impractical, unfair and written by people who have never used the product for a long time. There was a guy who gave it 2 stars after using it daily for 2 years and claimed it had started to wear out. For real?! you don't speak He's been using it for 2 years and it was less than $20 real leather and he thinks it's fair to come back in 2 years and give 2 stars? Coming from the baby boomer era, I feel that today's youth society is entitled and has unrealistic expectations. For something so cheap that it lasts at least 2 years says a lot about its quality, not to mention the 4 years of abuse I've put mine through and it's still going strong. At first I had rather low expectations of this wallet, which is probably why I am so enthusiastic about it now. I figured for that price I'd do my best to get a year off of it. and again. that was 4 years ago! and let him know that everything will be fine. Okay so yes I will still order a new one but for now I will just tuck it away in my closet until the old stalwart can take another step with me. I never want to be without this brand, this style and this great value wallet ever again!
