I'd like to start this review by saying that I've been using natural toothpaste (Uncle Harry's brand) for many years, so I'm very used to toothpaste with low foaming and a taste that can be uncomfortable for most at first. I bought these pills for traveling and camping as this small jar is easier to pack than Uncle Harry's giant jar. I'll start by saying that I like that the product is natural, doesn't contain any plastic and is easy to pack. It's also easy to use and I've found that it takes on the consistency of toothpaste pretty quickly once you start brushing your teeth. However, I don't like that it foams a lot. As I said, I'm used to low-foaming toothpaste, so I think that's way too much. I don't like the taste either. It's too sweet and leaves an aftertaste that doesn't make my breath as fresh as I'm used to. It also doesn't keep my teeth clean for as long as I'm used to. With Uncle Harry I can get through the day without a fluffy sweater on my teeth, but I can get through half a day with this one. But the worst part is that my mouth hurts on the inside of my lips after 3 weeks of travel use. I don't know why but it's really uncomfortable and I can't wait to go back to my regular toothpaste! It might be ok for short-term use, but anything longer than a week and I think I'll pass.
