Rust and black deposits in the bathroom.
One of my tenants moved out after living in the house for 10 years. The cast iron bathroom was just awful. Rust under the faucet has penetrated the cast iron tub. Black foam covered the bottom and sides of the cast iron tub up to about 6 inches from the floor. I tried cleaning with a Brillo sponge and a Comet. I tried leaving an aqueous solution of chlorine in the bath for 12 hours. 99% scale remained. I have a pool and use pumice to remove debris on the top 6 inches. I figured let's try pumice. I only had 2 pieces. It took me 1 hour of constant spinning and "sanding" with a pumice stone and some water, the tub looks new. 10 out of 10
