The first lasted 3 years with constant use. The only reason I got a new one is I wore through one of the straps.Every time I go out someone mentions my bag. It is big enough to hold everything and the outer material is protective - I don't have to worry about getting it wet - it just wipes off.It is also fun - the color change is sometimes subtle and others dramatic depending on the light.I do use a liner in my new one - the old one got a little saggy over the years as the fibers in between the outer material broke down over use. (the line is intact just not stiff/firm enough to hold the purse open or upright when set down).
