I love that this product is a great way to prevent slipping in the tub. When I first installed it on a white bathtub, it looked very nice. I live in a place with hard water and rust. I found that over time spots of rust appeared on the material which I couldn't figure out how to clean properly. I don't want to use strong rough grout as it can attack the plastic. The glue proved very strong, but over time the water started bubbling up from under the glue and I had to remove the mat. In terms of installation, it was very easy to install and trim as well. I bought 2 bath mats, one for the bottom and one for the back of the tub. Because the back of the tub was curved and the plastic wasn't very flexible, it didn't work well on the back of the tub, even though I sealed the edges with Flex Shot. One reviewer reported that this rug can be used in a renovated bathroom - this is not true. Over time the glue on the carpet has removed the surface of the tub. After removing the carpet, I had to refinish the tub. I wish I knew about this carpet before I refinish the tub. I like it better than suction cup mats which get dirty and greasy over time. Overall, I appreciate Moen products because they offer a guarantee and will replace parts if they don't work.
