I purchased this binocular tripod mount for a pair of full size Vortex binoculars as I've read that the Vortex binocular mount is not the easiest to install and remove . This mount allows you to quickly switch between binoculars in a chest strap and a tripod for hunting, wildlife viewing, barn hunting, etc. The base feels solid - good non-slip material to attach the binoculars to and the plastic feels solid enough. - and the tie cord adjusts easily with a hook and loop closure system on one side and a springy stretch loop on the other to secure your glass kit in place. It may take a little trial and error at home (or with something soft under the binoculars) to get the right fit, but once you set it up it's great!
