Dora, I would like to explain how I will use your sponges. I needed to install new gutters and downspouts in my old house. Gutters only allow small objects and water to pass over ditches. They have a basket installed inside and just above the floor on the drain pipes. They can be removed and all dirt, tar sand, small leaves, etc. will fall into the sponge at the bottom of the basket. Water can flow through the sponge and continue through the drainage system. The approximately 3 1/2" X 4" sponge that came with the system is dirty to fully clean it of sand etc. So I just cut your sponges to size and replace them with yours. I have 8 gutters all over my house and I empty the bins about every few months. As an old man, I no longer have to climb onto the roof to clean the gutters.
