My revised review: I ordered this for my son's school project and when it arrived I thought the paint was completely dry and that one color was missing. When my son came home from school, he informed me that this type of face paint is activated by water, which is normal. The "missing" color was pasted onto the underside of another color. Sigh. I'm leaving my first review to remind myself that I know what I'm talking about before writing a fiery review. and also to inform others who think the product is defective about my error. My initial review: The paint set was colorless and the paint was dry. There were a few other reviews on the same subject but I thought the color might be fresh as it was close enough to Halloween. As other reviewers have noted, the packaging looked like it had been opened.
