It worked fine with Windows 8, but with Windows 10 the volume is too low (when used via the onboard USB controller). I think it's the driver. Kids used it to add music to YouTube videos but only for a month or two until I built some new Windows 10 PCs. I wanted to try it on my Macbook Pro, but even if it works well, it won't help my kids who use Win10 boxes. I also tried this on several different Windows 10 PCs and the audio recording volume was very low. There were some tips online on how to fix this, but all of those settings were already enabled. If you turn them off, there is no sound at all. Anyway, it's in my desk drawer now. Maybe I'll use an XLR connector for a preamp or something, it might work just fine. That's what I thought of doing. but they are quite expensive. I know for a fact that my kids are happy with these very very cheap computer/work mics I bought off ebay ten years ago.
