Review on πŸ”€ 2 Input 1 Output R/L Stereo Audio Bi-Directional Switcher, Splitter with Mute Button - No External Power Required by Daryle Grove

Revainrating 5 out of 5

THIS is the one you want to get. Believe me.

This is what I wanted when I was looking for a way to switch my headphones between two laptops running high quality audio editing/sequencing software. I actually bought two different cables, the other arrived the day before and I was frustrated because I hadn't thought of adding a 1/8" (3.5mm) cable with a male to male audio jack I had one, but needed the other to plug into the output jacks of both MacBooks in the box, with my headphones facing the front. The first box was relatively sleek, minimalistic, and had two small buttons at the top labeled 1 and 2 It's also very light as it's plastic, but it seemed to get the job done. But THAT came today. The first thing I noticed when opening it was the high quality braided audio jack cable. The next thing I noticed, It's about half the size of an already fairly small (for me) splitter, but is made entirely of durable matte black metal, it has a great solid look and weight, and there are two small buttons on the top the box, e fins on each side of the raised black aluminum volume knob. One button lets you toggle between inputs, while the other mutes all channels. It's just a really good combination of form and function. Worth every penny for the very reasonable price!

Pros
  • Plug and Play No external power supply required; Will not affect sound quality in any way
Cons
  • Zero
