I used them in the village for Christmas this year and I really liked them. We used 21 bowls and none of them had a defect (the rest didn't even bother to check). At one point I asked my son to put my hand under his plate as I wasn't sure when he would cover the plate, if the plate would hold a stack of large turkey, ham, all the veggies and gravy, and finished. .but he was happy to tell me not to worry the dish is very strong. So I relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the meal as did all of our guests. Not once did the dishes get wet during the night - food stains really do remain on them - which is understandable. I did not receive any discounted or free items for my comments. I'm just really happy with this product and will buy it again.
