I bought these primarily for a small ring for my helix (cartilage) piercing. I saw there were a few studs for just a few bucks more so I went for it. The hairpin is not 2mm, it is smaller. I know this because I have a 2mm diamond in my nose, these are smaller. The size was ok although I have many different ear piercings and mostly wear small jewelry so they don't look too gaudy. However, the news is TINY! I'm pretty sure those are baby earrings. I won't be returning it because the tires were just right and I only lost a few extra bucks, but I still lost a few extra bucks.
