Although they are advertised as printer communication cables I actually bought them for something more delicate/demanding. They connect 6 different digital audio production/DJ devices to my computer. They provide power and high-speed connectivity for devices and work just as well, if not better, than the custom cables they replaced, which cost $30 each. They are solid nylon braided gold plated connectors, no complaints. **As a side note, just because I've seen so many people say the cables don't fit their printers, the cable is fine 90% of the time. Most printers are not designed to transmit signals over cables longer than 6 feet. There is a long explanation as to why I won't waste time here, just save yourself the hassle and don't go over 6ft. and you will be fine.
