Review on Filtrete Maximum Filtration Reduces 3US MAX F01 by Jason Taylor

We have been using our under counter water filter for over a year now (2 years straight). However, the last two replacement filters we received had small cracks that caused water to splash everywhere when the water pressure was turned back on. When it first happened we thought it was an accident. However, this made me question the quality control of the filter for the second time. So we now plan to thoroughly inspect every replacement filter we receive and replace it if we find cracks. Serviceable filters are smooth to the touch. On faulty ones you will find what looks like a scratch on the case. This is a gap that opens under pressure and allows water to get under the sink and into the kitchen. I would give that a 5 star rating if they can fix it because we love the filter. Until they do, however, it's 2 stars. I will update this review when I get a working filter!
