Review on Dorman 973-414 HVAC Blower Motor Resistor Kit for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury Model Selection by Larry Willis

It took me a few minutes to figure out the location but it ended up being very easy. If you're tall and tall like me, it's a little tricky that the seat is under and behind the glove box on the 98 Expedition. So I installed it a bit "blindly". But it's easy to get in. I'm glad I ordered with a cable and not just a resistor. When I removed it I found that 2 terminals on the cable connector were shorted together. I simply replaced the wire from the HVAC fan motor and installed a new set of resistors. Took me about 30 minutes and now the airflow works like new (at 192000)! Thanks very much!
