Live it up in the grocery store
I bought them because they're a lot cheaper than the big stores. They're great for sealing food in soft plastic bags like bread, rolls, etc. They provide a tighter fit than plastic pull-tab lids and are easier to use (and track) than twist-lock closures. They are not suitable for chip bags. or any hard plastic.
