I took a chance after seeing all the bad reviews about leaking brass fittings. I have some plumbing experience so I know I need to use teflon tape end load when dealing with brass fittings. The trick is to use it a lot, but also cut it in so it gets thicker the further you screw it in. No leaks ;) Also, I bought it thinking it would fit my original Pentek LARGE BLUE cap. It's not like this. I had to put new fittings on a new cover. It is important to note that manufacturers recommend replacing clear cases every 5 years and opaque cases every 10 years. I didn't know about this before I bought this one, but it looks good when you can see through the case. If installing outdoors, do not buy clear cases as the sun encourages bacterial growth. No matter how I ended my novel. Solid product, looks good, would buy again.
