I bought the mermaid design size 8-10 for my just 9 years old 55 pounds, 132 cm height daughter. This leotard constantly rides up and my daughter feels so uncomfortable and unconfident adjusting it in public.It is sad because it looks beautiful on her, but I have to research another brand or style that fits to her. To us it was a waste of money.It might work better to size up. However, My daughter is in the middle normal weight and next size might be too large for her. So if your kid is between sizes it might work better to size up.
