This was my first drone I got for my 11 year old. We quickly discovered that the manual was very poorly written: it didn't show how to use the remote control to get the drone to take off. While this may seem obvious, it's still not clear to me how this is accomplished. At the end is a blurred line that suggests "unlocking" the drone by pressing the red button on the remote control. Well, it just beeps, but nothing else happens. So far I've never been able to fly a drone remotely, period. I can fly the drone with my phone, but when it flies by about 50 feet, it seems out of control to the phone app, and we have to strive to catch it before it crashes into a car or random tree. At around 50 feet, the phone app seems to have basic functionality, but the one-button return still doesn't work. I can't contact the manufacturer or get answers to my questions.
